TODD WATERS PARTNERS WITH HONDA AUSTRALIA FOR 2017

Todd Waters has announced his home for the 2017 Motocross & Supercross Championship Seasons, partnering with Honda Australia under the Crankt Protein Honda Racing banner.

Recently returning from Melbourne, Waters was announced in the team alongside the release of the Honda CFR450R which he will Race on in both the Motocross MX Nationals and Supercross Championships.

Waters will get his hands on the new bike in 2 weeks time, but is already looking forward to the new model and what is in store for 2017.

“THE NEW HONDA 450 LOOKS GREAT, IT’S A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BIKE FOR NEXT YEAR IT’S A LOT LIGHTER, SLIMMER, HAS MORE POWER AND DIFFERENT SUSPENSION SO OVERALL IT’S REALLY EXCITING.”

Waters hopes to improve on his results from the 2016 season after finishing 3rd and narrowly running short of the MX Nationals Title and having a horror run with injury and mechanical issues in the Supercross.

Honda also announced Waters’ new team mate in Luke Clout and Team Manager Jay Foreman, who Waters has previously worked alongside.

“WE’VE GOT GOOD PEOPLE ON OUR SIDE, BEING WITH A COMPANY LIKE HONDA, THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND INVEST IN IMPROVING AND BETTERING THEIR BIKES SO I AM EXCITED TO BE A PART OF THAT, AND LOOKING TO RACING IN 2017 AND SEEING WHERE WE CAN GO WITH IT.”

The MX Nationals will span over 10 Rounds, the first falling on Sunday April 3rd in Horsham, Victoria.
